With the blessing of His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia and Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi Ilia II, the administration of parishes in America and Canada was established, with Metropolitan Dimitri of Batumi and Lazeti appointed as its leader. With the blessing of Bishop Dimitri, several services have already been held in Georgian in Los Angeles and San Francisco. We have been blessed to systematically hold services in both cities, and it is planned to open a Georgian Orthodox Church in Los Angeles… At this stage, we are in the process of finding a rented space.
